At Xtra Time, all of our Staff are qualified in their respective disciplines. We take pride in continually upskilling our staff to deliver the highest level of Sports Coaching & Childcare.

Our teams qualifications include a UEFA A Licenced Coach and a Level 5 Childcare Practitioner. In addition to this, all staff are Paediatric First Aid & EpiPen trained, have completed Safeguarding, Prevent and Food Hygiene training.

Xtra-Time is a breakfast, after-school, and holiday club provider offering quality out-of-school childcare services in Watford and its surrounding areas. We provide the perfect solution for parents who need that Xtra Time for their children in education. Our services include a Breakfast Club, After-School Club, Holiday Club, and Sports Services, all designed to keep children engaged, active, and supported in a safe and fun environment.

Our Story of Establishment

Xtra Time is a family-run business established in 2003. We began as a football coaching service, '1st Touch Football Coaching', and expanded into children's care in 2012 with 'Xtra Time Kidz Club'. As we continued to grow, we recognised the need to combine both services under one umbrella. In May 2017, we officially became 'Xtra Time Kidz Club and Sports Coaching', bringing together our passion for sport and childcare to provide a comprehensive service for children in our community.

We have gone from strength to strength since our humble beginnings and now proudly supervise over 1500 children across 30 schools, 3 childcare provisions, and various sports clubs. Our growth reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, engaging, and supportive services for children, ensuring they have the opportunity to develop, learn, and have fun in a safe environment.
